About Us

Youth development international is a non-profit, non-governmental organization born out of passion for correcting the divergent behaviours in youth and the sincere need to render selfless service to humanity. And it also serve as an advocate and a catalyst for change in the present poor status of adolescents' well being, with the main objective of empowering and equipping this generation (young and old).
YDI was established after years of study and analysis of the prevalent conditions of youth of this generation in the areas of empowerment that contribute to the growth of the society in this present world.

In pursuance of its deals youth development international {YDI} has the following aims and objectives;

  • To create a mutual understanding in our youth
  • To create awareness in HIV/AIDS and promote a preventative culture
  • To improve image and self esteem
  • To promote/campaign for absolute PEACE
  • To organise appropriate programmes
  • To serve as a forum for discussion of potential ability for peoples growth
  • To explore areas, in which, we can influence a sound economic and political structure for Lagos State and Federal Republic of Nigeria
  • To develop leadership skills
  • To give inspiration, guidance and resources
  • To raise community awareness
  • To educate and equip for present and future living
  • To complements the work of the Director of Employment, United Nations Development Project (UNDP) through youth empowerment programme and other entrepreneurial development programme
